This sites author, Sal Torn, was born in the 1960′s of parents born in the 1930′s. His parents were both educated and to some degree conservative but not doctrinal. As such, Sal feels that his parents instilled in him an older code to live by which is missing from today’s prevalent attitude of better to ask forgiveness later than permission now.

While not all of the philosophies Sal learned are applicable or advisable in today’s world, many are.

This website serves as a platform for Sal to discuss these practices with the hopes that, if we all adopt and observe some of them, the our country and the world will be a better place.

In addition, Sal is an avid do-it-yourselfer, movie fan, music lover, and beer brewer. This website will also serve as a place to blog on these topics as well.
